According to an article by Campaign Live and data provided by WARC, Global adspend growth to accelerate to 4.7% in 'stellar' 2018. Warc anticipates global adspend growth this year to ring in at a healthy 4.7%, or $572bn (£410bn).This is thanks to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Fifa World Cup, US mid-term elections and reduced dollar volatility in emerging markets. In a recent survey conducted by MediaPost, it found that 90% of US Hispanics are likely to watch some or all of the games in the upcoming World Cup, compared to 75% of Non-Hispanics.
