There are so many things to see and places to be whilst in Cannes. The definitive list for first timers and vets will be published closer to opening of the Festival. For now a quick overview:
In our humble opinion, LBB_Beach is where it is at - The Brits, the Europeans, the Americans and the Latin Americans , everyone (!) descends on this amazingly put together co-sponsored beach headed up by Matt and Sarah Cooper. It is in its 8thyear and has gone from strength to strength over the years. The sponsors are ever growing, along with an increasing number of guests at the beach. This location should be included in your day time agenda for meetings and for some R&R by the sea.
What makes it so good? It is accessible, it’s non-pretentious. It’s super chill. Almost everyone from our industry drops in the LBB Beach at some point during their Cannes experience. Plus LBB have a fabulous Happy Hour every day 4 – 6pm. It really is #RoseAllDay in Cannes :)
Other places to have on your hit list are the Carlton, Martinez and Majestic. These are good during the day BUT if you haven’t met your dream client, and you have the stamina, you are guaranteed to meet them at the Carlton late at night with more glasses of rose than is usually good for you. Guaranteed. Plus the Facebook and Google Beaches are always fun during the day with special INVITE only events during the night.
